(15,245 posts)What's in someone's heart, or mind, or unvoiced thoughts, or whatever you want to call it, is bullshit because it is not verifiable. Utterly impossible to confirm or refute. Nobody has acces to others' internal monologue. And, btw, it does not itself act on any person or object and as such has no effect on the world whatsoever. "What's in his heart" is content free, it is vapor, is is a phantasm, it is an illusion. Appealing to this ghostly idea is an attempt to create an irrefutable get-out-of-jail card.
What people should be judged by are their words and deeds. Because those are observable, recordable, and they affect people and objects in the world. Cause and effect, playing out right before our eyes every day.
And by that metric Donald Trump is an overtly enthusiastically racist piece of humanoid trash.
