Cascades, no significant snow a 4000 ft. Missmanaged lodgepole pine thick as can be with much of it dead and dieing as far as the eye can see. That the entire basin hasnt gone up in flames in recent years is a miracle. This next fire season is going be a white knuckle nail biter.
