6. I nave the same concerns as you do

My first hope was that Nancy and the dems would be able to create a special commission to investigate and issue a report. But the repugs have thwarted this.

At least Garland and the FBI appear to be making a big effort to arrest and charge the seditionist leaders. But this will we a very long process and trump and other repugs are already calling those arrested "true patriots" who are being persecuted.

Trump himself, as well as some of his top officials, were clearly involved in the planning and execution of this attempted coup. They made sure that the capitol building was poorly defended, and ignored frantic requests for reinforcements. Trump didn't call of the attack until he realized that it would fail.
