32. "Let"? Conservatives actually control more of this country than we do

even though "our" numbers are higher. And both RW extremism and sympathy for it are still rising. Also LW extremism, which is also hostile to continuation of our democracy as we know it.

If we hadn't gotten power in the house in 2018 or the presidency in 2020, we could now be seeing Democrats on trial for trumped up crimes, as millions are still demanding.

But we did, and for now, as the extremely old saying goes, the wheels of justice turn slowly, but... The DoJ reportedly estimates that approximately 500 people will be tried for their involvement in the violent insurrection at the Capitol.
