There remains a tiny (and shrinking) possibility that a fully vaccinated individual can still catch the virus and even die from it. But the likelihood is passingly remote.

The risk is very likely well below many risks that we accept every day without concern (like walking downstairs in your home or driving a car to work) and the fear is approaching a line of rational/irrational.

BUT... all they're doing is wearing a mask and/or asking me to wear one around them. They aren't asking me to get rid of my car or rebuild my home without stairs. The fear might be "irrational", but it's inconsequential... and a civilized society should be a civil society.
