People cheering for Netflix’s demise may be disappointed. Their stock price is UP since the controversy and it’s highly unlikely that the Chappelle situation will fundamentally alter their ability to generate revenue.

As a subscriber I think the low budget foreign language dreck they throw up every month and rebrand as “Netflix originals” is more of a threat to their business than the Chappelle blowback. There’s a lot of really shitty content on Netflix that isn’t offensive, it’s just plain bad.
