12. No idea if I've had it.

I've seldom masked since last June. In a class of 30 students. Then summer break.

Then in classes all day, total 165 students. Except that students transferred in and out.

In meetings with teachers, some of 250+, some 4 or 6.

I've had maybe 30 kids go out after testing + for COVID. Colleagues go out with it. Just last week a fellow teacher on my team was sick with COVID, said he was symptomatic Sunday afternoon but was sure he contracted it Saturday afternoon, so there's no chance he was infectious Friday at lunch. Yeah. Right. A 24-hour lapse between infection and symptoms. Not buying it.

I'm in the halls during passing period daily, in a high school with over 3000 students. I sub during my conference period. I do other activities with groups of students after school. Don't know how many times I've been in the cafeteria during lunch, with 3 lunches that means being in an enclosed space with 1000+ loud, talking students without masks (they're eating).

And that's work. Then there are things like going grocery shopping.

Vaccinated last March. Flu shot in October. COVID booster shot more recently. Felt under the weather a time or two in the fall. Maybe a cold, maybe the flu, maybe COVID. Can't tell. Worse yet, the last time was a 5 days after the booster shot. "Get a test!" Sorry, antigen tests would always be positive that soon after a vaccination.

I can't imagine I *haven't* contracted some variant. But have I? "I can't imagine" =/= "I have".

Meh.
