I just watched the exchange between Doocy and POTUS. [View all]

As best as I could make out, Peter Doocy asked POTUS something like "Is inflation a liability"?

POTUS responded with something like "No, it's a great asset".

POTUS then followed up with "What a stupid son of a bitch".

Here you have a journalist asking an inane question in bad faith.

The question was delivered in an attempt to bust balls, so it was responded to with sarcasm and a mild appropriate insult.

Tit for tat.

No big deal.

Response from POTUS was right on the mark, and probably similar to how most humans would have responded.

What should POTUS have said otherwise to a bullshit question? Should he have gone into some long diatribe about inflationary pressures?

It's not a bad thing to call a stupid son of a bitch a stupid son of a bitch, if one acts like a stupid son of a bitch.
