3. From a military strategy analysis...

The Russian actions seem illogical.

They've been feeding small amounts of soldiers into well defended cities. That's not standard protocol.

Standard military protocol demands heavy artillery or aerial bombardment before pushing troops forward.

IF the Russians want to defeat these cities they have to do the same thing they did at the Battle of Berlin in 1945 which was literally moving heavy artillery block by block blasting any building that had Germans firing from the windows.

But that kind of battle might bring NATO military reprisals...

I think the Russians are well and truly fucked.

They cant defeat the Ukrainians without doing the kind of thing that probably attracts too much "heat".

So this looks like a Ukrainian rout if things continue.

If this continues, Russia runs home with tail tucked... and a humiliated Putin gets "retired"...
