16. People have a Contitutional Right to freedom of religion, and freedom from religion;

But let us not forget Madison hails from the Charlie Kirk, Josh Hawley, Ben Shapiro school of "Don't go to college, get married young, have lots of children, homeschool, teach from the Bible."

Religious homeschoolers were the ones who took their children out of public schools so they would not be "indoctrinated" by real history and real science. From Jerry Falwell and the Moral Majority in the 70's they fought to put "right minded" people in every local and state office from School Board, Dog Catcher, Sherrif, Prosecutor, Judges, to Congress and Senate, then Presidents. This did not happen over night, and Trump was not anything new and different, he was the end result.

“Mark my word, if and when these preachers get control of the [Republican] party, and they're sure trying to do so, it's going to be a terrible damn problem. Frankly, these people frighten me. Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can't and won't compromise. I know, I've tried to deal with them.” Barry Goldwater, quoted in John Dean's book "Conservatives Without Conscience," 1994
