When Grassley first took office he was severely ridiculed even by his own side as not being the brightest bulb.. between you me and the wall.. I think he is running again to get his grandson in there in an unearned seat so he will just worm his way into being the guy everyone knows..

Edit: it is his grandson who is in the state senate
