Pomerantz wanted it released to put pressure on Bragg to reconsider, or to push other prosecutors to take the case. Pomerantz did all of the financial work going through Trump's financial documents and he worked for free and then all of his hard work was flushed down the drain right when it was ready to go before a grand jury. If I were Pomerantz, I would leak it too.
