I don't think emigrating to Canada is "betraying" America. That's a little too over the top for me. People should be free to move to any country where they think they'll live a better life. But moving ain't for me.
I think we take too many advantages that come with being American for granted. I'm still with Bill Clinton who said "There's nothing wrong with America that can't be fixed with what's right with America. We have huge problems, but we also have big hearts and the capacity for huge solutions.
