5. Frustrating, isn't it?

I once sent a Registered, Return Receipt letter to a doctor's office right next to the Post Office. You could see the building through the PO window! It took a full seven days before it was delivered, even though I had to walk past the building to get back to my car. This was prior to DeJoy coming on board...it's probably worse now.

Can you contact the agency handling your COBRA to advise them "the check is in the mail"? Since it was Registered, do you have a receipt you can FAX or e-mail to them to prove you mailed it? Maybe that will buy you some time.
