useful skill at times, and it sounds like it would be a mandatory one for people in DFW's nephew's profession. But most politicians aren't that good at it, even if they think they are, and they tend to get called on it when they circumvent questions. (Though often not soon enough, as we realize every maddening time a journalist or talk show host lets them off too easy.)
