I don't know anything about your car, since there is no full description or photograph of it.
But, sure, her other car is a Tesla and this was just the beater she uses to go out in freezing weather to pickup overpriced orders for herself using DoorDash.
Nope, she could not be someone living on the margins and trying her best to get by in a system that won't help her. Not possible. You are right, she's a moral trainwreck and horrible person who should have her children taken away from her and given to deserving people.

The vehicle, a 2010 Accord, was missing a front bumper and had a dent on the left rear quarter panel with a torn temporary tag No. M965246 in the rear window. The car was last seen with heavy left-side damage and purple paint transfer on it, according to police. The car's VIN No. is 1HGCP2F30AA031252.
The entire front bumper is missing. So, double-whammy, she was driving a car with children in it, despite a piece of important safety equipment being missing. Obviously, a horrible person all-around. What could I have possibly been thinking.

You might want to read the DDN article. They found one of the boys at the Dayton airport.

Leaving a car running and unattended is against the law in most, if not all, states.

That, too. Thanks for the reminder. It's because it creates a public hazard.

Where did you learn she was working there? I read she was just picking up an order she had placed.

Thanks but I don't see any sarcasm tags and it's not amusing - even if meant to be sarcastic
