In any case, we're on the same side. Those also on our same side who didn't believe before now do.

And the day is mostly past for those whose fringe ideology depends on defeating Democrats (leading to national collapse that didn't happen, socialist revolution that didn't happen, etc, etc.) Things have now gotten so serious and alarming that fewer and fewer people are willing to throw away their votes. And of course everyone now knows the takeover wouldn't be theirs.

Because the RW authoritarian storm and our battle for survival is now upon us.
