Excellent critique.
But I did feel the whole Rob vs Ron thing was a tad confusing. You started using Rob at the beginning of your piece without explanation other that the (sic) reference indicating you intended to use Rob vs Ron even though it was not the correct name. I was not aware of the Trump usage of Rob vs Ron so it just didn't connect. I did note the *** but again I guess I wasn't astute enough to recognize that as a hint I should look elsewhere in your editorial for an explanation.
Probably no one else was confused with the "Rob" usage. However, it was a distraction each time you used "Rob" until I finally got to the 7th paragraph where all was explained. Perhaps putting that comment earlier in your piece would have been better, although I would guess you had your reasons for placing it near the end.
Again an excellent editorial.
