In reply to the discussion: About that $16 McDonalds meal story. [View all]Arthur_Frain
(2,229 posts)13. It is a deal
But its a far cry from most of my adult life. Full meals at the fast food joints ran $5-$6. Theyve been overcharging for the sodas forever, and a small bag of fries was always less than a dollar. In & Out was a great burger, but the fries are soggy.
Thats what I get for a childhood on frozen french fries, gimme the fresh ones and I think theyre soggy.

I love Egg McMuffins! I've tried to buy chewy muffins like the ones McDonald's uses, but can't find them.

We quit eating at McDonald's about the time Dairy Queen came out with the 5 buck meal.
