I'm at least a 4th generation Texas. I left in 1988 and moved to California.
I've visited several times (in fact, I'm in Dallas now working with/for a good friend who has a small business). It's HEARTBREAKING to see what's happening here.
I hope this woman has gone to another state for her necessary procedure. New Mexico is about eight hours away by driving and about 1 1/2 hours by plane. She lives in North Texas (where Dallas is). New Mexico is the closest state that allows abortions.

Yep. Texas fundies will torture her with the courts ruling that 'life' is more important, regardless of pain or risk.

Because, hey, who better to govern a woman's uterus than an old white guy who is a faux-Christian zealot?

She needs to get a burner phone, find someone in NM to perform the abortion, and drive or fly there.

Just declare Texas females as live breeding stock and property of the State and be done with it.
