74. Mom and dad raised us that way. Both where always concerned for others. They raised 6 kids but always had room....

..... for one more.

When I was on active duty and couldn't get home for Christmas, they contacted the nearest military base, found two airmen who couldn't get home, and invited them for Christmas.

Those two remained friends with my parents until they passed away, but they still keep in touch with my sisters, who are now in their sixties.

I only met them once or twice. They both have to be my age now, in their seventies.
