Keep in mind the legal system works only... [View all]
..when we accept the decisions of the courts and the enforcement of the court decisions.
The Circuit Court's decision ruling against Trump's claim of immunity produced a sigh of relief from all the legal eagles on MSNBC. They had expected a ruling in days rather than weeks and were getting anxious over the seemingly excessive time being taken by the three judge panel to reach what appeared to be a no-brainer decision. Some excused the time frame as an attempt on the part of the judges to make a bullet-proof ruling, which is apparently what resulted, based on some of the legal eagle comments.
Fortunately for all of us, our government is currently under the leadership of a President who takes his oath to heart and allows the enforcement agencies do their jobs without interference...
If Trump wins the election, he will essentially eliminate the enforcement function of government by taking control of all the enforcing agencies. After that, he can do what he pleases, be it legal, illegal, constitutional, unconstitutional, ethical, unethical, good for him, bad for the country... whatever.
Who's going to stop him?
I don't believe all the people thinking we need a dictator to fix the country fully comprehend how life under another Trump term will progress.
