7. If by "we" you mean Congress, I have a feeling

that the GOP will block any and all aid. Master has spoken, bitches fetch or wretches cower, I'm not sure which. Ukraine was mean to Trump for not coming up with fake dirt about Biden, so they must suffer to assuage Trump's fragile ego. Fearing their MAGA voters, even those few remaining pro-Ukraine GOP legislators will acquiesce. Meanwhile I'd hope that the Biden diverts whatever funds are possible, in conjunction with the NSC, DoD and whatever other branch of the Executive Dept. (friggin' Dept, of Agriculture if possible!) can be mustered. However, I have a feeling that's been pretty much done already. I think it's outside the permitted activities of "blue state" governments. Crowdsourcing by U.S. citizens to fund drones and artillery shells, 'cause that's what they need most (aside from anti-missile defense which is probably beyond crowdsourcing), is the only other possibility that comes to my tiny mind. Baltic nations have done this in the very recent past. If it's legal, the Democratic Party should help coordinate. Perhaps you can think of something else.

However, unless or until Biden defeats Trump at the same time as Democrats retain the Senate and regain the House, I think Ukraine's goose is largely cooked - unless something totally unexpected happens, like China breaking with Russia and threatening Siberia or, Russia doing something to cause NATO intervention (which would be WW3). And it all will come down to one ugly orange American narcissist, which is a terrible condemnation of the U.S.A. as a whole that we haven't utterly destroyed him already.
