First, what Ron Filipkowski posted on Twitter this morning:

If they asked MAGA cultists leaving the Trump rally yesterday what they thought he meant when he said if I lose there will be a bloodbath in this country, how many of them would say he was talking about the auto industry? He knows exactly what hes doing and how they hear him.
Now, my thoughts. I've read the commentary, here and elsewhere, saying he was only talking about the auto industry when he said there will be a bloodbath if he doesn't win.
That IS the defense Republicans are trying to use. So are some in the media.
He made the "bloodbath" remarks in the middle of some remarks about the auto industry.
And as Politico said - https://www.politico.com/news/2024/03/16/trump-bloodbath-biden-november-00147453 - it was "unclear" what Trump meant.
Now, if I dont get elected, its gonna be a bloodbath. Thats going to be the least of it, Trump said during a rally near Dayton, Ohio. Its going to be a bloodbath for the country.
But it looks pretty clear that he's referring to auto industry problems as "the least of it" while he predicts "a bloodbath for the country" if he isn't elected.
For the country. Not for the auto industry. Not for "the entire economy" or some similar wording.
For the country.

OP
From the beginning the trump-pets have said, "he is a straight talker, tells it like it is"

As Republican focus group guru Frank Luntz famously said, "It's not what you say. It's what people hear."

So how do they plan on doing it? I think it's clear that it's not "if" but "how" they will try.

"Code", or "thinly veiled" it really isn't. Seems like a pretty direct call to violence.
