Every single adult Democrat and thinking, logical, decent person in Texas should approach a cop or border patrol agent and say "I'm illegal, arrest me".
When asked for ID or a passport, say "I have neither". Make such a scene they feel they must arrest you. Don't give them a name or ANY information that could identify you. Make them fingerprint you and insist on being arrested for being a illegal immigrant without ID. Insist on going before a judge and ask to have a public defender (tax payer paid) represent you.
If 500,000 Texans do this at the within 2-3 days, it would shut down the STUPID FUCKING LAW the repuqs have passed in this piss-poor state.
This used to be the state of Ann Richards and Molly Ivins, WTF happened to what was, and still could be, a wonderful state? As Molly said "RAISE HELL" and don't stop until they give up on this asinine law.
Just be careful, there are corrupt MAGA and right wing cops in Texas, and they might take the "LAW" into their own hands.
