If David Pecker has some real dirt on Trump, will the prosecution be able to elicit it? [View all]

Trump's treatment of Pecker suggests he has some real negative information about him. Will we find out?

If, for instance, The Enquirer paid to catch and kill a story about Trump paying for a woman's abortion, or even encouraging her to have one, wouldn't that be "fair game" since it's another instance of catch and kill?

Is there a legit way to get to non catch-and-kill information? Would the prosecution try to get to it, or wouldn't it be ethical?
