thinking "how is it that this little boy didn't have any pajamas in a country as rich as ours?" It just hurts my heart when things like this happen to small children.
Just this week I was talking with a woman I volunteer with. She told me about how she was trying to donate some items to our local Salvation Army. We are in an upscale area and the local Salvation Army wouldn't take some of the clothing and other items that she wanted to donate which really ticked her off. She said her husband's work takes him to Kentucky often, and he told her that people should go there to see how little some of those people have and that they would love to get those used items down there.
