I am profoundly grateful that Trump was not killed or seriously injured [View all]

I do not, never have, and never will support any kind of political violence. NEVER. This was a tragedy. If I did thoughts and prayers, they'd go out to the victims.

I am grateful that the Secret Service was able to dispatch the shooter and get Trump to safety.

I don't care right now about the implications for the election. I just want to condemn this in the strongest possible terms. I hope all of us can do the same.
