I am not even close to “profoundly grateful” about this. This is a person I despise with every fiber of my being, a person who has nothing but the worst intentions for the country, who has already done profound damage to the country, who would not hesitate to kill every last one of his perceived enemies if he could.

And I’m supposed to be thankful that he’s not hurt or dead?

That’s a bridge too far for me.
