(39 posts)72. Strong disagree!
I have many Gen Z folks in my life (kids, students, my patients). They felt completely unheard and unseen with two 80ish men running. They felt unheard and less motivated. This is going to motivate them. The torch needs to be passed. He should have announced he wouldn't run a year ago. I would have voted for Biden, you would have voted for Biden. Most of us here would have, but that wasn't enough to win this election and to think otherwise is out of touch with every voter under the age of 35. We need their votes to win! We need a new generation in charge.

Most of us get that & ARE grieving too. But ask yourself: WWJD? What would Joe WANT us to do?

The only people who'll hand him the office will be Bidenbros who refuse to vote as 'protest'.

Nonsense, there will be no Biden-or-Busters. No Biden-to-Stein or RFK jr or Trump voters

Why so eager to come up with a derogatory name for a nonexistent segment of Democrats?

With polling data sure. But large swaths of people here debate just how valid that polling data is too.

Sorry your primary choice lost in 2020. That's no excuse to falsely shit on Biden, especially today.

I don't know what our chances of beating Trump are now, but I do know our chances with Biden were ZERO.

It will depend on what, if any, policy proposals Democrats had to give up along with Biden to get mega donor campaign $$
