6. Not at all timely.... While Harris is getting record small donor $$, the big donors are holding back to "wait & see"

Obama's withholding his own endorsement-especially now that it is clear that she has both Biden's endorsement AND sufficient pledged delegates to more than win the nomination--might signal something problematic in their minds. We may "know" that is not the case, but donors are a different breed. This shit (and the signals it sends) matters. CNBC's Aaron Sorkin underscored the "wait and see" attitude from major donors this morning and while he did not single out Obama's lack of endorsement, he did say that some are simply not yet convinced Harris can do it. Big donors backed off several weeks ago. For all Harris' amazing small donor success, we need to get the former back on track.

I will always support Obama but I think this calculation is seriously wrong. It shows a lack of support for Harris but more, for Biden, his sacrifice, and his own endorsement of his successor.
