batshit racist rapist. But now the rest of us will just respond with, "Yes, dear. We know that's what you think. What else is new?"

It won't have the effect of discouraging anyone from speaking their minds like it might have before we knew that at least 30% of our fellow citizens are horrible people.

I think this time it will have the opposite effect. It will increase our resolve and solidarity. And volume.
