the church says about when life begins. But none of that is biblical, and 254 popes of the total 266 in the last 2,000 years have known that.

Today there is a spiritual and biblical basis for claiming that abortion is a made up sin.

If they were to read more, study their Bible more, study what Jesus did and didn't say, they would understand what a priest once told me: that the Holy Ghost lets women decide, and that that decision is between her and God.

I could go on, but Jesus's claim of separation of church and state should, imo, be sufficient to help turn Catholics toward a party that is 53% Christian but like our Christian Catholic president, doesn't parade itself around government.
