65. Most MAGAts I've met who tout their service....

... were short timers. One or two enlistments at most. They SUPER identify as veterans, but it was a relatively small part of their lives.

Don't get me wrong. Their service is honorable (presumably), but for people who build their identity around it, they couldn't wait to get out of the service.

Tim Walz is a 24 year vet. My Dad was a 24 year vet. Neither one drapes themselves in the flag or festoons themselves in garb proclaiming what a badass they were. In other words, a big chunk of long-stint vets are not all that anxious to talk themselves up. They served becasue they believed in the mission, not because they could wear a T-shirt and hat.
