I just watched Manhunt (the story of the Lincoln assassination and attempted coup) on Apple+

I highly recommend this 7 part series. For those not already aware, the plot included not just the assassination of Lincoln but also a supposed plan to kill Vice President Andrew Johnson, a failed attempt to kill Secretary of State William Seward and possible plans to kill both Secretary of War Edwin Stanton and commanding General Ulysses Grant. Watching the series, I couldn't help but draw some parallels between Andrew Johnson (who later pardoned several of John Wilkes Booth's co-conspirators and who became the first President to be impeached) and Donald Trump. A fascinating watch if you've got about 7 hours to spare.
