Due to the internet, spelling, punctuation and sentence structure have falling into a pit of despair. Students no longer really learn, they are taught "to the test", so the school system can have a high number to pass that keeps the government money rolling in. Add to that the religious schools that teach everything based on the Bible, and the homeschoolers that are the same, and the ignorance is growing.

Ignorant people are easily led and tend to vote who their religious leaders tell them to vote for, and that is Republicans. Without the ability to think critically, and to learn rather than being told, this country is in for far worse than Donald Trump.

Changing education must be a top priority. If we don't turn around decades of ruining public education, nothing else we do will matter.
