people just walked past her through the other part of the double door so even that one of several entrances/exits was still usable, and the building occupants (which were more than just Twitter IIRC) declined to ask the police to arrest her for trespassing or whatever. "She wants to be handcuffed to our door? Okay. We don't care."

Basically everyone except those there specifically for the spectacle ignored her, and eventually she got tired and asked the fire dept (who were just standing around, as were cops) to cut her loose because she didn't have a key.
