They even went so far as to excavate Jewish cemeteries to take their dead with them. Subsequently, Hamas seized power, including by assassinations of rival PLO politicians. The Israeli settlements you refer to are in the West Bank, where the PLO still holds power. There is no love between Hamas and the PLO.

The fact you don't realize this, but try to use it as a way to explain the Hamas attack on Oct 7, is.... something.
