30. If I am wrong, then I am wrong, but I was under the impression that any 'elected' position was impeachable.

And, I am wrong. It seems that being an elected official has to be at least at the state level to be impeached.

So, we have no way to remove rogue sheriffs, other than tedious, barely recognized procedures that may or may not produce any action at all. Gee, I wonder how that happened?
