Simple logic says it's not.

Palestinian Health Ministry reports that 43k have been killed. Given that PMH is essentially Hamas run (as Hamas is the official govt of Palestine), the real number is likely lower. But for the sake of argument, I'll use that number as it's viable as an upper limit. Average it out and you get ~120 killed per day.

Israel's military has the weapons and manpower to kill 10x that per day, and Hamas is not in a position to provide meaningful resistance. What does this mean? The only reason the death toll isn't dramatically higher is because Israel is choosing not to maximize the body count. This refutes the ethnic cleansing argument.

Is Israel committing war crimes? That is a very different argument.
