Might be a good time to bring out this old chestnut. In this interview with Andy Griffith, he said emphatically: "I guess people at that time didn't think it could happen. It can happen." Today was the first time I've seen this. The movie is called "A Face in the Crowd." Someone posted this on Threads:
Chilling to think that exactly what was predicted came true.
