10. Understandable. At the same time, that's exactly what they want

and what they have worked for going on years now. We Democrats misunderstood their purpose and goal from the outset. It never was to prevail on the basis of reason and debate re: what is good for the people, the nation as a whole, or the world. It was always just about finitely prevailing … in the self-interest and for the benefit of “superior” humans.

The only way they can achieve that is if enough of us acquiesce. Fuck ‘em. I’m going down with at least a fight. I’m almost 74. I may not — probably won’t — be around to see us turn this around. On the other hand, my children and their families depend on it. I can’t do much, but I can resist, speak out and hold my ground — and be a royal pain in the ass at every opportunity.

And believe me, I fully understand your feeling. But I’m also feeling almost like … I dunno, sounds dramatic I know, but at least metaphorically like “I have but one life to give”. So fuck ‘em … in the lesst, I’ll can rabble rouse.
