1. He thinks he is a real estate genius like Trump and wants to prove to everyone that he can build a large resort

2. The Saudis gave him 2 billion dollars to invest for them... so far I think he is just taking his "management fee" out of that and the Saudis would probably like to see some sort of return on their money.

Not to mention that the Saudi princes aka playboys would love to have a replacement for Beirut... where they used to go to have a good time with gambling and women and night clubs, etc. So long as it is not in Saudi Arabia... and where they can be a little bit anonymous... nearby to home is good too.

So... hey hey hey. Get rid of a bunch of Palestinians and let Trump family build them a "Vegas on the beach"
