If we get a few catastrophies on top of one or more disasters our civilization could collapse. Runaway warming could happen as the frozen methane hydrates is near release. We have a 4% risk of a serious Carrigton Event taking out most electric and electronics bith of the next two years, throw in a few bad storms, a big earthquake or a mega volcano and it will be catastrophic. Any of the above plus a pandemic or two on top or a terrorist event or armed conflict would make really bad into total collapse of civilization. Things are very very very serious and little can be done to prep if you're not wealthy.
