54. Sadly, we've seen this far too many times

Democrats are often too quick to start blaming Democrats when it is the republicans who are destroying our democracy. Democratic politicians are 1000 times better than our current republican politicians.

Most of them run great campaigns and are doing an excellent job in office with what leverage they, but for some reason nearly everyone on both the left and the right expect absolute perfection from Democrats. Republicans, however, get a pass no matter what they do or don't do.

If we are going to cast stones, it should be at the people who are the cause of this destruction of our democracy, not those who are living up to their oaths to protect and defend the constitution. I am often amazed at how many truly decent people stick it out in politics. It is a thankless job.
