236. Can't lead stupid

Obama, Harris, and especially Hillary Clinton have for years been speaking very clearly on the threat that Maga poses to American democracy. But....Obama had a sit down with Henry Gates and went on to wear a brown coat to the hallowed oval, Harris did not detail her policy plans to the man's man Joe Rogan, and Hillary committed the greatest offense...she actually showed up to congress and testified for hours before the Maga mob and they got nothing....oh and did I mention eggs cost too much, and immigrants are all criminals except the ones that pick my fruit, roof my house, and clean my hotel room.

Our actual leaders have likely come to the same conclusion that all of us parents eventually come to after trying to impart perspective to our kids.....perspective comes in large part through experience. There is no going back now from the delusional, anti-intellectual bridge jumping escapde that 50% of the American voting public have decided to drive the car of state over. We were told not to drive drunk, we were shown pictures of what the crash would look like, we were told how this wreck of an administration would harm us, we even got a four year front row seat preview and yet......thank you Fox News, Facebook, Instagram, Christian nationalism, all of the current opiates of the masses and yes......simple, objectively demonstrable "get government out of my medicare" stupidity ....here we are.

There is an old Midas commercial that put proactive car maintenance in the theme of, "pay me some now or pay me later." Well, America has selected the pay later option and is about to find out the bill for this wreck won't be cheap. Buckle up! I am sure this is what our leaders are doing.
