to have to present ourselves as the professionals if we can ever hope to turn this mess around. We chastise Republicans when they pull shenanigans, and we shouldn't be condoning such behavior for ourselves either. Frankly, the behavior the other night during the speech was unacceptable in my opinion. A few people in that crowd made us all look bad because that is where the focus was. We have to present ourselves better as this sort of stuff is seriously counterproductive.
I know this isn't a very popular opinion, but the raw reality is that we have to attract more independent and moderate types in order to pickup the numbers we need. This means concessions, like it or not. Taking the hard line on everything is a losing strategy, and Impressing our own voters gains us nothing. The entire thing was ill-advised in my opinion. Green should not have done what he did.
