(8,103 posts)Why are you joining this ridiculous reasoning of racial animus when I tell you I am offended by generalities of dislike toward White people? It is a weak, nonsensical position that quite boggles the mind. If you think that bigotry gets to avoid being bigotry because it comes from an "oppressed race" and that it is not a two way street because of some logically twisted thinking, there is something wrong here.
I tell you I am offended and immediately the same-old same-old comes out. No consideration of feelings or attitudes. "It couldn't possibly be racial prejudice because, you know, I am oppressed" and so goes the excuses. If you read these answers from my point of view, it is laughable. If my behavior fell to this, I'd get clobbered. I have been in the past when the abuse of this board just came out in waves for absolutely nothing that I did. Yet, here I don't even get to tell you that I am offended by racial slurs.
You guys want what exactly from me? A free pass? I get it. I see it. Here I stand, with you and for you, yet you feel free to insult me. Whatever. Teach your children well.
For the record, I stand with Al Green, I hate Trump et al. with all my heart and soul, but not because they are White, but because they are vicious, souless monsters about to visit hell upon us. I believe that White, Christian males are the only ones that will not be touched, and I have said so. I've got nothing to hide, and you won't catch me making racial slurs, because I don't believe in that, unless you want to call MAGA a race. But, they come in all colors, so there's that.
I'm done with this thread, so rest easy! I apologize to all balding men for praying for Rump's hair to fall out. I guess it is insensitive, but it is the only way I can rage while praying to be saved from this monster. He would so be under pressure if his hair would completely fall out. Maybe we can agree on that.
