In reply to the discussion: What the fuck is Gavin Newsom doing? [View all]CountAllVotes
(21,920 posts)26. Newsom is not near a popular as some think
A lot of my blue friends don't like him much.
I'm not thrilled with him either.
Why in the hell am I paying close to $6.00 a gallon for gasoline and oh yeah, my PG&E was so high, I've had to turn the furnace to OFF. It was 52 degree in the house the other morning as Newsom looks the other way as they seek more money and another bail-out will be coming again soon!
He's a bit to slick for my likes, I will at least admit.
Presidential material? I really do not think so.

I'm not sure why either. I'm not ready to get too critical until I see how the approach works.

Agreed. This is ridiculous. It would make a lot more sense to platform disaffected Trump voters

Yes, racism is deadly for people of color. That's why it's so important to win elections.

Newsom is not platforming them. They already have massive platforms. He is debating them.

So, we should reach out to Fascists but previous supporters who didn't vote bc of Gaza, those people can go FAFO.

All working people who voted for Trump will get hit with FAFO. That's our opportunity to pounce.

Yes!! In hindsight, the campaign should have given Gov. Walz WAY more public exposure out on the campaign trail.

Well, if we "debate" them the way Newsom does on his podcast, we are DEFINITELY done.
