If Trump and his ilk are not stopped and harshly rebuked, not only will this man be gone from his family's life forever but it will become commonplace. We will all know someone with a boot on their neck.
The absolute INaction and lassitude on the part of our legislature since the inauguration is inexcusable and defeatist. There are almost no exceptions. Inaction is complicity.
It's very soon going to be too late to achieve anything within the normal course of procedural function.
The other side of this has been at Defcon 1 for a decade. Democrats need to gird their lions and be ready to see some blood and guts if we're going to save this country.
So keep making those phone calls and wagging your fingers.
Just don't act shocked when it starts to get noisier and uglier.
It's already noisy and ugly.
